The establishment of a Student Council gives students an opportunity to acquire the sort of communication, planning and organisational skills which will be beneficial to them in their future .
We had our Investiture Ceremony at Sanctorum Higher Secondary School today where the results of the elected Council members were announced. 
Our Guests Prof. Tariq Ahmad Chalkoo (HOD Physics, GDC Baramulla),Mr. Javaid Ahmad (President Industrial Estaste, Sopore),Prof. Ghulam Moho-u-Din Ahanger,Advcate Imtiyaz Ahmad,Mr Mohd. Ashraf War( Chief Patron, Sanctroum Higher Secondary school),Mr. Shakir Ashraf War( Chairman, Sanctroum Higher Secondary school),Mr. Haji Mohd. Ramzan Dar(Administrative Officer, Sanctroum Higher Secondary school),Mr. G.R Sofi (Principal, Sanctroum Higher Secondary school) handed over the badges and flags to the Council members. Prof. Tariq Chakoo administered the Oath taking by the students.
